The only thing I would have changed is that I would have had casters (wheels) on my cabs instead of the feet. The casters just look cooler. More Rock n Roll.

I had both of those exact amps. Loved em both. Id take the 2500 50w Master Volume between the two because its a JCM900. The realio dealio. However, my AVT50 full stack into a Zoom GFX8 sounded absolutely amazing. Ozzy Dokken Ratt SRV etc was just incredible out of that setup. ZERO complaints.

I have one of these. It's one of the best hybrid amps ever made. The only thing is the reverb tends to go out on these models.

I'm going say amp A is the JCM900 and amp B is the Valvestate because amp B sounds a little tighter like a solid state but other than that they sound almost identical.

You don't have to put so much drive, there needs to be a balance between OD gain and amp gain.....less gain is better as the sound has more articulation and less compression. Use the setting below... Rat Drive 8, Bottom+2, Tone -12, Level 52 Marshall I+II Gain 58, Bass 46, Middle 58, High 50 level 60 Cab 4×12, 412Md, off mic, position 4 EQ low cut 55hz Hi cut 8Khz... For Metal use 5150 and Modern DS... For crunch rythm tone use Tweed with 2×12, Stack Crunch with 4×12 off mic. Try OD-2, Guvnor, Rat, TS...use gain and level to balance with amp gain Reverb use plate, time 2s Pre Delay 8ms, level 20 Direct 100
